"The Liberators" Movie Event
The City of Brenham is excited to announce that the first of many scheduled events at The Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre in Downtown Brenham is happening this weekend!

Love true stories of lost treasure? Enjoyed the hit George Clooney film, “The Monuments Men”?
“The Liberators” will make its Brenham debut at the Barnhill Center during the Texas Arts & Music Festival this Saturday, October 21 at 2:00 pm. The film documents a “German art detective attempting to find medieval art treasures seized by the Nazis, travels through the New York art world and military archives to the unlikeliest of destinations: a small town on the Texas prairie. The film questions the motivations of the art thief and the whereabouts of the items that, to this day, remain waiting to be discovered.” This true Texas tale will keep you on the edge of your seat with twists and turns all along the way. Check out "The Liberators" trailer.
The movie will be followed by a question & answer session with Director Cassie Hay. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or at the door. Teachers, professors and students – show your school ID at the door to purchase a discounted ticket for $8.
Also, be sure to check out the Downtown Brenham website for even more great events happening in historic Downtown Brenham!
